Poco C65 Makes Its Debut in India Starting at Rs 8,499

A few days ago, Poco confirmed the impending arrival of the new Poco C65 in India, and today, the phone has officially launched. Sporting a fusion of style and decent specifications, it comes at a starting price of Rs 8,499.

Beginning with its design, the Poco C65 boasts a sleek and lightweight build, tipping the scales at just 192 grams. The distinctive feature is its prominent camera island at the back, adorned with the Poco branding. This setup houses two sizable camera modules accommodating three camera sensors. It comprises a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and an additional tertiary lens. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front-facing camera. The device offers various camera features such as film filters, night mode, AI portrait mode with depth control, among others.

The smartphone flaunts a 6.4-inch HD+ display boasting a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It’s fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection and holds certifications for TÜV Low Blue Light and TÜV Flicker-Free.

Powering the Poco C65 is the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, clocking up to 2.0GHz. It comes with a maximum configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via a memory card. Additionally, the Turbo RAM feature allows for an extra 8GB of RAM.

With a 5,000mAh battery, the device offers decent power, but it only supports 18W fast charging (comes bundled with a 10W charger), which may feel underwhelming. Operating on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, Poco guarantees 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates. Notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual Nano SIM support, and more.

The Poco C65 debuts at a starting price of Rs 8,499 and will hit Flipkart shelves from December 18. It arrives in Pastel Blue and Matte Black variants, offering various RAM+Storage configurations at the following prices:

• 4GB+128GB: Rs 8,499 (Rs 7,499 after a bank offer)
• 6GB+128GB: Rs 9,499 (Rs 8,499 after a bank offer)
• 8GB+256GB: Rs 10,999 (Rs 9,999 after a bank offer)
