Google is enhancing the Immersive Ads feature on Roblox by allowing players to earn in-game rewards for watching video ads. This benefits both players, who can receive exclusive skins or accessories, and publishers, who can monetize through the ad program. Let’s explore what this program offers.
Roblox is making a significant change by introducing Rewarded Video Ads—full-screen video ads that players can opt to watch for up to 30 seconds in exchange for in-game perks, power-ups, or exclusive accessories.

In partnership with Google, Roblox is integrating AdMob and Ad Manager features to help advertising companies purchase ad space on the platform.
Since the Immersive Ad feature’s launch last year, tests have shown an approximate 80% completion rate for Rewarded Video ads, with some instances exceeding 90%. This indicates that Roblox players recognize the value of such rewards and are willing to watch a 30-second ad.
Additionally, the platform plans to enhance the feature with Billboard Ads, Sponsored Experience Ads, and Premium Home Ads, meaning players may soon see advertisements integrated seamlessly into their favorite Roblox experiences.
Roblox is also partnering with industry leaders like Clint, DoubleVerify, and Kantar to ensure brand safety and improve the advertising experience. What do you think about this new feature? Are you willing to spend 30 seconds of your gaming time for cool rewards? Let us know in the comments below!
