Vivo’s recent global launch of the X100 series, previously introduced in China, is now extending to India. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processors, mark the first of their kind in the country.
Vivo India’s website features a dedicated microsite for these models, signaling their imminent arrival. Although an exact launch date remains undisclosed, the launch is anticipated to take place in the near future.
The standout feature of the Vivo X100 Pro lies within its remarkable camera setup. Boasting a triple-camera configuration, it comprises a 50MP primary shooter utilizing a 1-inch IMX989 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens (also the first to receive APO certification) with macro capabilities, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. These cameras, powered by ZEISS, introduce specialized ZEISS bokeh effects, filters, and color science for an elevated photography experience.
Enhancing the photography capabilities further, the phones incorporate a dedicated V3 chip, optimizing portrait photography. Additionally, the Optical Precision Calibration ensures heightened sharpness and clarity in images. The device supports advanced features like 4K Cinematic Portrait Video, a specialized sun mode designed for capturing the sun using the periscope lens, among various other functionalities.
The standard Vivo X100 features a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP Super Wide-Angle Camera. It integrates support for the V2 chip and incorporates the ZEISS T* Coating anti-reflective technology.
Both devices within the Vivo X100 series boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The LTPO Eye Protection display introduces the vivo-exclusive V Frame Rate Management System, adjusting the frame rate based on the user’s touch speed. The Vivo X100 is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, while the X100 Pro houses a larger 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities.
Running on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14, the X100 series devices are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. Details regarding pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed, but further information is anticipated soon. Stay tuned for updates as we keep you informed!
