Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Launches in India: Specs and Pricing Details


After much anticipation, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has finally launched in India. Although Vivo has been producing foldable smartphones for a few years, this is the first model to be available in India. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Specs

The standout feature of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is its lightweight and sleek design. Weighing only 236 grams, it is the lightest foldable smartphone available. When folded, the phone’s dimensions are 159.96 x 72.55 x 11.2 mm, and when unfolded, they are 159.96 x 142.4 x 5.2 mm.

For the display, the phone features a 6.53-inch (2748 × 1172) 120Hz AMOLED screen on the outside. The main display inside is an 8.03-inch (2480 × 2200) 120Hz AMOLED panel. According to Vivo, the display offers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the highest ever seen on a foldable device.

Both the main and cover screens feature LTPO technology and are supported by Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Additionally, the device boasts a dual speaker setup. The screen-to-body ratios are impressive, with the cover screen at 90.92% and the main screen at 91.77%.

Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with the 4nm TSMC-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Moving on to the optics, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro boasts a primary 50MP VCS sensor with OIS. This primary sensor is complemented by a 50MP wide-angle AF sensor and a 64MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom capabilities. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera on both the cover screen and the main screen.

The device comes with a variety of camera features, including Snapshot, Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, High Resolution, Pano, Ultra HD Document, Slo-mo, Supermoon, Astro, Cinematic Portrait, and more. In terms of video capabilities, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro can record up to 8K resolution.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by a robust 5,700mAh battery that supports 100W Flash Charging. It also supports 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

On the software side, the foldable runs Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 out of the box. Vivo promises 3 years of major OS updates and 4 years of security patches. Additionally, the device includes AI features such as AI transcript assist, AI note assist, and AI screen translation.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Price, Availability, and Offers

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is priced at Rs 1,59,999 for the single variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. There are several bank offers available, including a flat Rs 15,000 discount and a free one-time screen replacement. Additionally, you can opt for a 24-month no-cost EMI plan at Rs 6,666 per month.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be available for purchase starting June 13 on Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo’s official website. Pre-orders are already open on these retail platforms.

This new foldable is set to compete directly with the OnePlus Open and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. It remains to be seen how the Indian market will respond to Vivo’s first premium foldable offering.
