On March 5, the highly anticipated launch of the Nothing Phone (2a) finally arrived, revealing nearly all specifications of the device that had previously been leaked. However, one crucial detail remained uncertain until today: the pricing. Recent leaks have now shed light on the pricing of the Phone (2a) in Europe, unveiling a significantly lower retail price than initially anticipated.
According to information from the French deals finder website Dealabs, the base model of the Nothing Phone (2a), featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is set to be priced at €349 or approximately US $375 in Europe. Additionally, the website reports that the upgraded 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will retail for €399 or roughly US $427.
The European pricing equates to Rs 31,000 for the 8/128GB variant and Rs 35,000 for the 12/256GB variant. However, our estimation suggests that the Phone (2a) will likely be priced significantly lower in India, possibly ranging from Rs 24,999 to Rs 27,999.
While we recommend approaching this information with caution, if the phone indeed retails for €349, it would be welcome news for prospective buyers of the Phone (2a). For those unfamiliar, the Phone (2a) is anticipated to feature an AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, dual rear Sony cameras, and a robust 4700 mAh battery offering either 33 or 45W charging speeds.
The phone might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and could showcase a distinct Glyph design, differing from both the Phone (1) and Phone (2).
