A Recap Ahead of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl

As the release date of September 5, 2024, approaches for STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, arriving on day one of Game Pass, it’s an ideal moment for the franchise to acquaint the console audience with the legacy of this horror survival FPS game.

GSC Game World PR Specialist Zakhar Bocharov emphasized the importance of ensuring the horror, first-person shooter, exploration, and immersive sim aspects are executed flawlessly for the console version. He added,

“We’ve been eager to bring S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to consoles for a while now, collaborating closely with our trusted partners at Mataboo to achieve that goal,” said GSC Game World PR Specialist Zakhar Bocharov. “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues the storyline as a standalone title, yet familiarity with previous events and characters will enhance your enjoyment of certain story elements, nods, and Easter eggs.”

The preview also highlights that the games in this bundle have been “refined for consoles,” suggesting an enhanced experience even after all these years. With some Xbox exclusives making their way to other platforms, Xbox fans can now enjoy classics from the PC universe.
