Google hosted their Android Show: I/O Edition event yesterday, where they introduced Material Expressive and announced the expansion of Gemini to more platforms. One of the standout reveals was Gemini coming to Wear OS and Android Auto features that fans have been eagerly waiting for. Since Google and Samsung are collaborating closely, Gemini will also be arriving soon on Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Buds.

Samsung shared in a blog post today that Gemini will soon be available on all Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watches and, surprisingly, the Galaxy Buds3 series. Once Gemini launches on these devices in the coming months, users will be able to use “Hey Google” to quickly set reminders or fetch information from apps like Gmail and Workspace.

Just like with the Pixel Buds Pro and Buds Pro 2, Samsung promises that Gemini on Galaxy Buds will offer a seamless experience. Users can activate the assistant using voice commands or by tapping and holding the controls, allowing them to get quick answers without having to reach for their phones.

Samsung has even bigger plans for its Galaxy Watches this year. Instead of releasing One UI 7, they’re jumping straight to One UI 8 Watch, which is expected to introduce a redesigned interface, a new Now Bar, and several other features. The Galaxy Watch 8 series might also be launching soon, featuring a major design shift from traditional circular dials to more of a squircle shape, similar to the Watch 7 Ultra.
