Vivo and iQOO have announced the registration date for the OriginOS 6 Preview Program in India, ahead of the global rollout next month.
According to the official India X accounts of both brands, registration for the OriginOS 6 Preview Program will begin on September 29, 2025. This allows owners of select Vivo and iQOO devices to apply for early testing of the new OS before its official launch in China on October 10, 2025.
iQOO has confirmed that OriginOS 6 will launch in India on October 15, 2025, coinciding with its global release. The brands have not shared further details about supported devices or new features, aside from describing it as the “smoothest Android experience yet.”
However, Vivo’s X post includes the #vivoXSeries hashtag, suggesting that the update may initially roll out to the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. Meanwhile, iQOO India Product Management DGM Shankar Singh confirmed on X that the iQOO 13 will be the first device to receive the OriginOS 6 Preview.
Owners of the Vivo X200 series and iQOO 13 should be ready to register for the OriginOS 6 Preview Program starting September 29, 2025.
Although many details remain under wraps, a recent OriginOS 6 lockscreen teaser hints at Liquid Glass-like translucent elements, suggesting that it may adopt features similar to iOS 16. These questions are likely to be answered soon, as the OriginOS 6 Preview is set to launch in just a few hours.
