After bringing the Find X9 series to India recently, Oppo now seems ready to expand its portfolio with a new addition to its “A” series. Fresh leaks have revealed the expected specifications and India pricing of the upcoming Oppo A6x, giving us an early look at what the budget smartphone might offer.
Oppo A6x 5G: Budget-friendly phone with a massive battery.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the Oppo A6x 5G is expected to launch in India with a starting price of ₹15,499 for the 4GB + 128GB model. The phone is also said to feature a large battery, positioning it as a strong contender in the budget 5G segment.

The Oppo A6x 5G appears to be another budget-focused device for the Indian market, and early details suggest it won’t offer a major hardware jump over the Oppo A5x 5G, which debuted in May 2025. Both models are said to use a 120Hz HD+ LCD screen, but the A6x 5G reportedly moves to a slightly larger 6.75-inch display compared to the A5x’s 6.6-inch panel.
The upcoming phone is also tipped to include a 6,500mAh battery, offering a small boost over the A5x’s 6,000mAh capacity. Charging capabilities remain unchanged with 45W fast USB-C charging. The larger battery may also make the A6x 5G a bit bulkier, with leaks suggesting an 8.58mm thickness and a weight of around 212 grams.

Surprisingly, the Oppo A6x 5G may actually take a step back in the camera department. Leaks suggest it could feature a 13MP main rear camera, which is a downgrade from the 32MP primary sensor found on the A5x. On the front, however, the phone is expected to keep the same 5MP selfie camera.
In terms of performance, the A6x 5G is rumored to use the Dimensity 6300 chipset, the same processor powering the A5x. The device may also carry over the IP64 rating, offering basic dust and splash resistance.
Do note that all of this information is based on leaks, and Oppo has yet to officially confirm any of these specifications. With the frequency of reports increasing, the launch is likely to take place before the end of 2025. Stay tuned to Beebom Gadgets for more updates on Oppo’s upcoming budget smartphone.
