OnePlus recently teased its upcoming tablet in India, which it later confirmed will be named the OnePlus Pad Go. The tablet now has an official launch date for the country, and here’s what we can expect.
OnePlus Pad Go: Coming Soon
OnePlus is set to launch the Pad Go in India on October 6. The company’s second tablet is aimed at providing a quality experience at a relatively affordable price point to compete with devices like the Realme Pad 2 and the Redmi Pad. The tablet will be available for purchase through Amazon and Flipkart.
OnePlus has already revealed the design of the OnePlus Pad Go, which maintains a similar aesthetic to the OnePlus Pad. It features a centrally positioned camera hump on the back and rounded edges, creating a minimalistic appearance. The tablet will come in a Twin Mint color, with the possibility of additional color options. It offers a dual-finish back, providing both matte and glossy textures. The front display has slim bezels, although it is not entirely bezel-less.
As for the specifications of the OnePlus Pad Go, there have been no official details released yet. It is expected to be a more budget-friendly version of the OnePlus Pad, possibly featuring a smaller display. The tablet might opt for a 90Hz refresh rate instead of the 144Hz on the OnePlus Pad. It could offer a 2.4K resolution display with TUV Rheinland certification. Other compromises may include a mid-range chipset, a smaller battery, slower charging speeds, and more. The price is likely to be below Rs 20,000.
OnePlus is planning to reveal more information about the OnePlus Pad Go through a dedicated microsite before the official launch.
