Nothing has confirmed the launch date for its next-generation wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3), following a series of teasers.
Nothing’s Ear (3) will be unveiled on September 18, 2025, according to their official X account. The image showcases the earbuds, highlighting their transparent stems, “ear (3)” branding in Nothing’s Ndot font, and metallic grey internals.
The black eartips and nozzle sharply contrast with the transparent casing and metallic accents. Metallic grilles on the faceplate echo the internal metal components within the stem.

In addition to the Ear (3) announcement, Nothing detailed its updated naming strategy, reverting to sequential numbering for its products instead of including the launch year. This approach mirrors the original Ear series.
Details about the Ear (3)’s specifications are still limited. That said, the earbuds are expected to deliver enhanced noise cancellation, sturdier build quality, and KEF-tuned audio.
The relatively early release has raised some eyebrows, as it may be a strategic move to rival Apple’s upcoming AirPods Pro 3, rumored to debut at the “Awe Dropping” Apple event on September 9, 2025.
As the official launch date approaches, more updates and leaks are likely to surface, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on them.
