Just when Pixel fans thought there was nothing left to imagine, a new video has surfaced online providing a detailed look at the upcoming standard Pixel 9 in a vibrant pink color. Here are some key points from the video.
It’s not unusual for an upcoming Pixel device to leak in a hands-on video before its official launch—this has happened with nearly all previous Pixel models. The video was shared by a user on X, who claims the device is from Algeria and is the 256 GB version.
Previous rumors and leaks hinted at a Peony color variant, and this vibrant pink could be it. The last time Google introduced such a bold color was with the Pixel 4’s “Oh So Orange.” The overall design of the device aligns with earlier leaks.
Key Points About the Pink Pixel 9
In the video, you can see that the back of the phone has a glossy finish. There are two antenna lines, one at the top and another at the bottom. The bottom of the device includes a USB Type-C port, a speaker opening, and a SIM card slot. As usual for a Pixel, the power and volume buttons are located on the right side.
The camera module is larger than anticipated and has a lighter pink color. The considerable vacancy surrounding the flashlight appears somewhat unusual. The edges of the phone are slightly curved, which should make it comfortable to hold for extended periods. The overall design is reminiscent of an iPhone.
The Pixel 9 series is expected to feature the Tensor G4 processor, a new modem, and will launch with Android 15 pre-installed. The launch event is scheduled for August 13, where Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold, along with the Pixel Watch 3 series, which includes the Pixel Watch 3 and 3XL, recently leaked.
