Intel has announced the imminent launch of Meteor Lake processors at its upcoming AI Everywhere event next month! Interestingly, there’s already buzz about Meteor Lake laptops, with some MSI models featuring Intel 14th Gen Core Ultra processors appearing in online listings.
The information surfaced via @momomo_us, initially shared through Newegg US, providing insights into the expected CPUs and essential specifications of these new laptops. However, the links have been removed after being active for a short period.
MSI’s lineup of work laptops showcasing the 14th Gen CPUs comprises the Prestige 13 & 16, along with a leak revealing the inclusion of the CreatorPro 16 Studio model. While the leak also mentions the well-known Stealth 14 & 16 gaming SKUs, detailed specifications for these models are currently unavailable.
These laptops are expected to house Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 CPUs. Notably, they’ll boast premium features like 6400 MHz DDR5 memory and OLED displays with extensive color gamut capabilities.
The anticipated configuration for the Core Ultra 5 125H on the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is rumored to consist of 16 cores and 24 threads. Though details about clock speeds remain speculative, there’s talk that the Core Ultra 5 125H could reach a boost clock speed of up to 4.50GHz. Meanwhile, the higher-tier variant, the Core Ultra 7 155H, is also observed, potentially featuring 14 cores, 18 threads, and an anticipated maximum clock speed of 4.80 GHz.
The Core Ultra processors represent the high-tier CPU offerings expected from Intel’s forthcoming 14th-generation release. These CPUs are equipped with onboard Intel Arc graphics to handle integrated GPU tasks. Although these laptops lack dedicated GPUs, they are anticipated to proficiently handle content creation tasks and manage light gaming demands.
Intel’s 14th Gen processors are poised for unveiling on December 14th, offering the promise of additional insights into their capabilities. Based on the now-removed listings, the MSI Prestige 13 is estimated to commence at $1,299, while the Prestige 16 might reach up to $2,500.
