Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Live Images Leak Online; Suggest Minimal Design Changes

Motorola’s Razr foldable flip phones have always been eye-catching, and the previous model, the Razr 40 Ultra (known as the Razr+ in the U.S.), received a lot of attention for its exceptional design. It’s been almost a year since its launch, and it seems Motorola is ready to unveil its successor, the Razr 50 Ultra, as the phone has recently surfaced in BIS certification in India. Live images of the phone have also appeared online, confirming its design and other details.

According to the images spotted by 91Mobiles, the overall design of the Razr 50 Ultra closely resembles that of the Razr 40 Ultra, both from the front and the back. The cover screen appears to be the same size, followed by the leather-like texture on the lower back with the Razr logo.

The inside display of the Razr 50 Ultra retains the same centered punch-hole design, and its dimensions appear identical to its predecessor. The BIS certification listing reveals the model number of the Razr 50 Ultra as XT2453-1. The phone is expected to launch in three color options and may include a 12 GB + 512 GB variant.

While not much is known about the Razr 50 Ultra’s specifications yet, more details should emerge as the launch date approaches. The Razr 40 Ultra featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 165Hz pOLED panel, and dual rear cameras. Therefore, it’s likely that the successor will see upgrades in at least some of these specifications.

Lenovo-owned Motorola might launch the Razr 50 Ultra before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where Samsung is expected to unveil its new foldable devices.
