Lenovo-owned Motorola is gearing up to enter the ultra-slim smartphone category with its upcoming Moto X70 Air. Before its official unveiling, the device’s official store page has gone live, disclosing several major specifications.
Moto X70 Air will feature a 4,800mAh battery in a sub-6mm slim frame
According to the listing, the Moto X70 Air will boast an incredibly slim 5.99mm profile and a lightweight body of 159 grams, positioning it among the slimmest and lightest smartphones available. For comparison, the S25 Edge measures 5.8mm and weighs 163 grams, while the iPhone Air comes in at 5.64mm and 165 grams.
The phone is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It also features a 6.7-inch pOLED display offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with Pantone and SGS eye-care certifications ensuring visual comfort.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software side, it runs Android 16-based Hello UI for a smooth user experience.
In terms of cameras, the Moto X70 Air includes a 50MP primary rear sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view, along with a 50MP front camera for selfies.
Despite its slim build, Motorola has maintained durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings. The smartphone will be available in Pantone-approved Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green colour options.
The Moto X70 Air is scheduled to launch in China on October 31, 2025, while the global variant—Motorola Edge 70—will debut on November 5, 2025. The India launch is expected shortly afterward.
