Lenovo has broadened its mid-range tablet lineup in India with the launch of the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus. The company is promoting it as a capable productivity device that also supports entertainment and creative tasks like drawing, without being overly expensive.

Talking about the design and display, the tablet is slim at just 6.29mm thick and weighs approximately 530 grams. It sports a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits in sunlight.
At its core, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card. On the software side, it offers Google’s Circle to Search and comes bundled with apps for note-taking, sketching, and document markup.
Fueling the device is a large 10,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. For visualizing, it contains an 8MP front camera for video calls and a 13MP rear camera. The tablet runs Android 15 out of the box, with Lenovo assuring two Android version upgrades and four years of security updates.
In terms of audio, the Idea Tab Plus features a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. However, it relies on the older USB 2.0 port and includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, along with a Lenovo Tab Pen inside the box.
Regarding pricing and availability, the tablet is offered in both Wi-Fi-only and 5G variants. The Wi-Fi-only model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 27,999, while the base 5G variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is also priced at Rs 27,999. The highest-end 5G version costs Rs 30,999.
The tablet is available in Luna Grey and Cloud Grey colour options. Pre-orders are live on the Lenovo India website, with deliveries starting from December 22, 2025.
