Leaked Live Photos Showcase Every Angle of All Three Pixel 9 Phones

Google’s struggles with keeping its upcoming smartphone designs under wraps are well-known, often resulting in premature revelations that spoil the surprise for some and stir excitement for others anticipating an upgrade. The Pixel 9 series appears to have taken this trend to new heights, with leaks emerging half a year before the scheduled launch. The latest leak, courtesy of the user Rozetked and first circulated on Google News via Telegram, provides detailed insights into all three models in the Pixel 9 lineup, including images and specifications pertaining to their cameras, displays, and internals.

Pixel 9 Series Leaks Surface Once More

Rozetked, the same source behind a previous Pixel 9 design leak, has once again offered a comprehensive look at the upcoming devices. This time, the leak comprises high-quality images of each model along with intricate details about their cameras, displays, and internal components.

Beginning with the standard Pixel model, which may potentially overshadow the Pixel 9a, it is internally referred to as Tokay. The device is expected to boast up to 12GB of RAM, a 6.24-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a dual-camera setup featuring ultrawide and wide-angle lenses. The design is said to include a glossy back glass finish complemented by a matte frame, signaling Google’s continued emphasis on both aesthetics and functionality.

Moving on to the Pixel 9 Pro, internally known as Caiman, it’s slated to boast up to 16GB of RAM alongside a 6.34-inch AMOLED display, likely featuring an LTPO panel for improved power efficiency. The device is set to impress with its triple-camera setup, comprising 50 MP lenses for ultrawide, wide, and 5x telephoto shots. Notably, the Pixel 9 Pro will sport a matte back glass finish contrasted by a glossy frame, with additional support for UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology.

As for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, codenamed Komodo, it’s expected to offer similar specs, including up to 16GB of RAM and a larger 6.73-inch LTPO 120Hz AMOLED display. Like its counterpart, it will feature the same impressive camera array and UWB support. The leaked images also reveal subtle design refinements, such as flat edges and slightly rounded corners, along with a revamped camera unit that now sits as an isolated island rather than extending to the device’s frame.

Interestingly, the leak also hints at the existence of a fourth device, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which is rumored to feature a redesigned camera system and a slimmer profile, adding further intrigue to Google’s upcoming smartphone lineup.

Additionally, reports suggest that the Pixel 9 series will incorporate UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, promising enhanced performance and speed. Powering these devices will be the Google Tensor G4 processor, anticipated to integrate a new Samsung modem aimed at addressing connectivity issues that have plagued previous Pixel models. Moreover, there’s speculation that the phones will continue to feature a thermal sensor, ensuring optimal temperature management during usage.
