Earlier this month, Nothing introduced its CMF sub-brand, which is gearing up to reveal its inaugural smartwatch, as well as a set of TWS earbuds and a rumored GaN charger later this year. While we’re still awaiting comprehensive information, some insights into these products, including the speculated GaN charger, have surfaced. Here’s what we know so far.
Upcoming Launch of CMF by Nothing Products
Leaked images of the upcoming products (shared by TechLeaksZone on X, formerly Twitter) suggest that the CMF sub-brand is planning to launch a smartwatch, wireless earbuds, and a GaN adaptor on September 26 in India. These offerings are aimed at a more affordable price range, intending to “bridge the value gap with superior quality products that boast a clean and timeless design.”
All the products appear to embrace an orange color scheme, which might be integral to the brand’s identity, much like the distinctive semi-transparent design associated with Nothing.
The smartwatch is possibly named the Watch Pro and could share some design cues with the Apple Watch. Expected features include an “ultra large” 1.96-inch AMOLED square display, Bluetooth Calling with AI noise reduction, and inbuilt multi-system GPS support. Health-related sensors for tracking heart rate, SpO2 levels, sleep patterns, and over 100 sports activities might be included. It could offer up to 13 days of battery life, possess an IP68 rating, and potentially retail for around Rs 4,500, positioning it against more affordable wearable brands in India like boAt and Fire-Boltt.
The earbuds, likely named the Buds Pro, are designed to fit in the ear. Anticipated features include 45dB ANC support, Dynamic bass, 10mm drivers, and up to 11 hours of playback time. These earbuds could be priced around Rs 3,500. The GaN charger might support 65W fast charging and offer a compact 3-in-1 design. Its compatibility with a wide range of products might justify its price of around Rs 3,000. This could be seen as a bit high for a new entrant, so it’ll be interesting to see how this is received.
The new CMF products will be accessible through the CMF.tech website. It’s important to note that Nothing has yet to provide official information, but more details are likely to emerge soon. Given Nothing’s history of consistent information releases, updates on the CMF products could follow the same pattern. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed, so stay tuned for updates.
