Jio, a leading telecom provider in India, has rolled out two novel prepaid plans in the country that include a complimentary Netflix subscription. Introduction of Jio’s Netflix Prepaid Packages
Jio has introduced the Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,499 prepaid plans, both of which incorporate access to Netflix. The Rs 1,099 plan encompasses Netflix’s mobile version (viewable solely on a smartphone), along with 2GB of daily data and limitless calls. Additionally, it offers unrestricted 5G data access as part of the Jio Welcome offer.
For those seeking more expansive Netflix viewing beyond mobile screens, the Rs 1,499 plan is tailored. This package encompasses Netflix’s Basic plan, coupled with 3GB of daily data and unrestricted calls. The validity of both prepaid plans extends to 84 days.

Regarding the Netflix offerings, the provided subscription permits viewing of movies and shows in 480p resolution on either a tablet or smartphone, available at a monthly cost of Rs 149. The Basic Netflix plan entails content in 720p resolution and is compatible with smartphones, tablets, PCs, and TVs, priced at Rs 199 per month. Both subscriptions are ad-free, and gaining access for approximately three months without charge is undeniably exciting.
Previously, Jio had limited the inclusion of Netflix to its postpaid plans (Rs 699 and Rs 1,499 plans) and its JioFiber broadband prepaid and postpaid offerings (Rs 1,499, Rs 2,499, Rs 3,999, and Rs 8,999).
