Jio has launched a new prepaid plan in India priced at Rs 909, offering complimentary access to two sought-after OTT platforms, ZEE5 and Sony Liv. The plan encompasses unlimited 5G data for eligible users.
It provides a daily allocation of 2GB high-speed data for 84 days, totaling 168GB throughout the validity period. If the allocated data is exhausted, users can still access unlimited data at 64kbps speeds.
In addition to the aforementioned benefits, the plan offers unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for its entire duration. Alongside, users have access to JioCloud, JioTV, and JioCinema apps, though the JioCinema access doesn’t encompass the premium subscription.
For context, the standalone JioCinema subscription, priced at Rs 999 for 12 months, provides access to top-tier video and audio content. It allows simultaneous streaming on up to 4 devices across any platform.
Jio presents an array of prepaid plans catering to varied preferences. Apart from the Rs 909 plan, there’s an option priced at Rs 3,662, offering 2.5GB data/day, unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and similar benefits.
Additionally, Jio features Rs 805 and Rs 3,225 plans, both with free ZEE5 subscriptions, and Rs 806 and Rs 3,226 plans, both offering free Sony Liv subscriptions. All four plans provide 2GB data/day, unlimited calls, 100 daily SMS, and access to Jio apps. The Rs 805 and Rs 806 plans last 84 days, while the Rs 3,225 and Rs 3,226 plans have a longer validity of 365 days.
