After an extensive teaser campaign, iQOO has officially launched its latest flagship, the iQOO 12, in India. Succeeding the iQOO 11, this smartphone proudly claims the title of being the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone in India, inheriting the legacy of its predecessor, all under the Rs 60,000 mark.
The standout features of this new flagship include its impressive camera setup, boasting a 64MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, alongside a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The front houses a 16MP selfie camera. Notable camera functionalities include Landscape Moon, Super Night View, up to 100x digital zoom, support for up to 8k video recording, and an array of other engaging features.

The iQOO 12 showcases a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO display, featuring a variable 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3000 nits of peak brightness. It supports HDR and boasts a color range of 1.07 billion colors. Notably, it incorporates Wet Touch technology, ensuring usability even with wet or sweaty hands.
Under the hood, alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the iQOO 12 integrates the iQOO Q1 Supercomputing chip, enhancing gaming performance. With features like 144fps Game Frame Interpolation and Game Super Resolution, it aims to deliver seamless gameplay. The device provides a maximum of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Powering this device is a 5,000mAh battery, supported by 120W FlashCharge fast charging technology. Running FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box, the device ensures a smooth user experience.
In terms of cooling, the iQOO 12 incorporates a 6K large VC cooling system, expanding the cooling area by 40% compared to its predecessor. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G support, NFC, OTG, GPS, NavIC, among other functionalities.
Pricing and Availability
The iQOO 12 is priced at Rs 52,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and Rs 57,999 for the 16GB+512GB variant. However, with an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank cards, it’s available at Rs 49,999 (12GB+256GB) and Rs 54,999 (16GB+512GB). Additionally, customers can avail of a Rs 3,000 exchange bonus.
This smartphone will be accessible through Amazon and iQOO’s Indian website, with sales commencing on December 14. Customers holding the priority pass can purchase the iQOO 12 a day earlier, on December 13.
