Grammarly is adopting “Superhuman” as its new brand name, inspired by the email app it acquired earlier this year. Alongside the rebrand, the company is introducing a new AI tool called Superhuman Go, integrated directly into its browser extension to offer real-time feedback and writing suggestions while composing emails.
What’s New with the Superhuman Go AI Assistant?
Superhuman—formerly known as Grammarly—confirmed its rebrand through an announcement from CEO Shishir Mehrotra on X, which initially left many long-time users puzzled. To clarify, the Grammarly extension will retain its original name, while the rebranding applies only to the parent company. The newly introduced Superhuman Go AI assistant will integrate into the existing Grammarly extension to enhance email drafting with real-time suggestions and feedback.

The Superhuman Go assistant will provide features such as smart writing suggestions, contextual feedback, and tools for checking meeting or event availability. To access these capabilities, users must connect the service with integrated apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Jira, allowing it to pull relevant information when drafting messages.
You can enable Superhuman Go directly through the existing Grammarly extension. Those who prefer not to use the AI assistant can continue using alternative writing tools instead.
The service is free to access, but premium plans are available. The Pro plan costs $12 per year and adds grammar and tone assistance across multiple languages. For teams, the Business plan is priced at $33 per year, which also includes access to Superhuman Mail.
