Google has introduced a new subscription tier called AI Plus, offering several features from the AI Pro plan but with reduced storage and a more budget-friendly price.
Currently available in Indonesia, the AI Plus plan is expected to expand to additional countries soon. Targeted at developing markets, it aims to bridge the gap between the free and AI Pro tiers. The plan is priced at 75,000 Indonesian rupiah per month (around Rs 400).

Google describes its new AI Plus plan as “a cost-effective way to experience Google AI.” While more affordable than the AI Pro plan, users still gain access to Gemini 2.5 Pro. Key features of the plan include:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro (available in the Gemini app and AI Mode)
- Veo 3 Fast video generation
- 200 GB cloud storage
- Google Flow with 200 credits
- NotebookLM
- Gemini in Google Workspace
Google has not yet disclosed the exact number of prompts included. For reference, the AI Pro plan provides 100 prompts per day, while free users get 5 prompts per day. The AI Plus plan and its limits have yet to appear on the Gemini app limits page but are expected to be updated soon.
The plan also offers access to Veo 3 Fast, capable of generating videos with audio, and Whisk, which comes with a larger 128K context window. Users also benefit from 200 GB of Google One storage and 200 credits for Google Flow.
Google’s AI Plus support page is now live, outlining the benefits and highlighting a 50% discount for the first six months for eligible users—though it’s unclear if this offer will extend to India.
While the India pricing hasn’t been announced, a monthly fee of around Rs 299 seems reasonable, given the plan sits between the Free and Pro tiers. As the plan targets emerging markets, an India rollout could happen soon. We’ll provide detailed coverage when AI Plus launches in India.
