Delulu has quickly become one of the most popular modes in Fortnite, largely thanks to its Proximity Chat feature, which adds chaos and strategy to Zero Build lobbies. This 80-player ZB mode revolves around forming—or breaking—alliances to secure a solo Victory Royale.
While the mode is attracting streamers and regular players alike, many are struggling to achieve a win and claim the coveted Victory Umbrella. Fortunately, some Fortnite players have discovered a glitch that allows you to obtain the umbrella without winning.
How to Get the Fortnite Delulu Victory Umbrella Without Winning
Players like Llamalaxy on X have shared two tricks to unlock the Crashbrella glider in Delulu mode without securing a Victory Royale. Here’s a detailed breakdown:
Method 1:
Team up with another player in-game. Approach them and invite them to join your team, then leave their team immediately. After that, have them invite you back to their team.
After rejoining their team, jump from a high point to take enough fall damage to get downed (DBNO). Once downed, press the Give Up button and spectate the rest of the match.
If you immediately enter spectate mode, the trick has worked. If you instead see the placement screen, repeat the process.
Method 2:
This method is similar to Method 1 but requires teaming up with a friend in the same party. While in the same lobby, leave their party and ask them to invite you back, keeping the Delulu playlist active.
Once in the match, fall from a high ground, DBNO yourself, press Give Up, and spectate immediately. If spectate mode begins right away, the method worked; if not, try the steps again.
There are several ways to pull this off, but the basic principle is simple: down yourself and give up so that the game sends you into spectator mode instead of showing your placement. If done correctly, you’ll spectate until the match ends and unlock the Crashbrella Glider without a Victory Royale. It might take a few tries, so be patient until you succeed.
As of now, this trick still works, though it’s unclear if Fortnite will patch it soon. Jump into Delulu mode while it’s still functional and claim your free glider.
