Xianyun appears to be a five-star Anemo character wielding Catalysts. Judging by the artwork, she seems to have recently relocated to Liyue. On the other hand, Gaming, a name fittingly connected to HoYoverse, is likely a four-star Pyro character proficient in swordsmanship. Further details about these characters will likely surface closer to the Genshin Impact 4.4 release date.
The depiction of Cloud Retainer seemingly having just relocated to Liyue holds an intriguing detail. In the previous Archon quest, Madame Ping explicitly requested her to move to the city, adding weight to the importance of paying attention to dialogues and not rushing through them.
Initial leaks about Genshin Impact 4.4 hinted at the likelihood of Madame Ping being the first playable character. However, recent revelations in the past two months have unveiled Cloud Retainer’s impending arrival, shifting expectations from earlier speculations.
