WWDC 2024 has arrived with a host of features. iOS 18 introduces various changes like app locking, updated Control Centers, and new accented icons. The exciting news for gamers is the arrival of Game Mode on the iPhone with iOS 18!
Apple’s software chief, Craig Federighi, demonstrated the Game Mode using games like Zenless Zero. He also noted that the Game Mode will enhance responsiveness with game controllers and AirPods.
For those unfamiliar, Apple Game Mode automatically prioritizes the game’s performance to deliver consistent FPS and an overall enhanced experience. While fine-tuning settings isn’t possible, users can observe notable differences in frame rates with the game mode. This feature was introduced to Macs last year.
