During its nearly seven-year journey, Fortnite has played host to numerous events and partnered with various facets of pop culture. Having commenced in 2022, Fortnite is set to revive its collaboration with the Coachella event for 2024. As per the official Fortnite news, the event is scheduled to kick off on April 11 at 8 PM ET. Here’s a rundown of all the content you can expect during the Fortnite Coachella event.
Coachella Cosmetics in Fortnite Shop
The iconic astronaut outfits from Coachella, known as Horizon and Cosma Outfits, will be available in the Fortnite shop starting from the first weekend of Coachella (April 11 at 8 PM ET). These outfits will also have their LEGO Fortnite versions. Horizon and Cosma cosmetics will remain in the shop until April 20 at 8 PM ET. Additionally, along with the costumes, you will also find three more items in the shop, including:
- Interstellar Butterfly Back Bling
- Coachella Pulse Pickaxe!
- Soft Synth Wrap
The J Balvin Coachella Bundle in Fortnite
In conjunction with the cosmic enhancements, the superstar J Balvin reemerges in Fortnite with a blazingly fresh appearance. In honor of J Balvin’s Coachella performance, Fortnite will introduce an exclusive cosmetic bundle in its shop. The J Balvin Coachella collection will showcase the Inferno Skeleton Balvin Outfit.
It will be featured in the Fortnite shop during the second weekend of Coachella: April 18 at 8 PM ET. Alongside it, the Zappy-Go-Backy Back Bling and the Mi Gente Jam Track will also be included in the bundle. Both the outfit and the bling can be purchased separately. The outfit will be available in a LEGO version, and the bundle will be available in the shop until April 22 at 8 PM ET.
New Stage, Emotes, Instruments and Jam Tracks
The event will also feature a new main stage. The Fortnite Festival’s Jam Stage will include Coachella’s iconic Le Grande Wheel, Spectra Tower, and other attractions. Additionally, a Coachella-themed video screen will be incorporated into the main stage.
The Mirage Glimmer Guitar and Festival Keys Keytar will also be available in the Fortnite shop from April 11 at 8 PM ET to April 20 at 8 PM ET. This addition will bring a touch of glamour and sparkle to the game. Pairing them with Horizon and Cosma is sure to create a dazzling ensemble!
Doja Cat and Sabrina Carpenter, performers at Coachella 2024, are also joining Fortnite with their performances through new emotes. The Rebellious Emote showcases Doja Cat’s “Paint The Town Red,” while the Sonic Surfer Emote features Sabrina Carpenter’s “Feather.” These emotes will be available in the shop from April 11 at 8 PM ET and will remain available until April 20.
In addition to the emotes, all artists performing at Coachella will also be featured in the Festival Main Stage’s rotation. The Coachella 2024 Jam Tracks, featuring:
- Bleachers – I Wanna Get Better
- Blur – Song 2
- Doja Cat – Paint The Town Red
- Eslabon Armado, Peso Pluma – Ella Baila Sola
- Lil Uzi Vert ft. Oh Wonder – The Way Life Goes

- Taking Back Sunday – MakeDamnSure
YouTube content creators will have the opportunity to feature these songs in their VODs and monetize them. Fortnite has stated that there will be no takedown notifications for using these Jam Tracks. However, if you are not part of the SAC or Support A Creator program, you will not be able to monetize your content featuring these Jam Tracks.
