Following the success of its earlier phone launch this year, Nothing has now turned its attention to its CMF team for the release of a new CMF phone. The CMF Phone 1 aimed to offer modularity and a unique design at an affordable price. Now, Nothing has introduced its first “Pro” CMF device, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, and here’s everything you need to know.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Specifications

The CMF Phone 2 Pro features a 6.77-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. While it maintains the 120Hz refresh rate of the Phone 1, it now boasts an improved peak brightness of 3,000 nits. In terms of design, the Phone 2 Pro adopts a dual-tone look and retains the signature lanyard dial. On the back, you’ll find a triple-camera setup. The phone is 7.8 mm thick, weighs 185 grams, and is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro retains the visible screw treatment with three screws at the top and one at the bottom, though the back panel is not removable. To enhance customization, CMF will offer additional back covers, a magnetic wallet-cum-stand, interchangeable fisheye and macro lenses, and a lanyard cable.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, a 4nm octa-core processor that promises 10% faster CPU performance and 5% better GPU performance compared to its predecessor. The base variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. CMF has also focused on improving the phone’s cooling system, utilizing a graphite material at the top to help dissipate heat more efficiently.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro also gets a significant camera upgrade, transitioning from a dual-camera setup to a triple-camera array. The primary camera is a 50 MP wide sensor, paired with an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The third camera is a 50 MP 2x telephoto lens, a welcome addition for zoom capabilities. While none of the cameras feature Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), they do support Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. CMF claims it can last up to 10 hours of continuous PUBG gameplay or 22 hours of YouTube streaming. Unlike the Phone 1, the Phone 2 Pro comes with a 33W fast charger included in the box.

On the software side, it runs Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15. The software support has also been improved, with CMF promising three years of major Android updates and an additional three years of security patches.

For connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a wide range of 5G and 4G bands. It features an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and offers dual SIM support. However, it lacks NFC and USB 3.2, offering only USB 2.0.

CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus

At the event, Nothing also introduced three new truly wireless earbuds: the Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. According to Nothing, the Buds 2a are entry-level TWS earbuds, while the Buds 2 are positioned as mid-range. The Buds 2 Plus are placed just below the Buds Pro 2, which launched last year. The pricing for these models is €29 for the Buds 2a, €39 for the Buds 2, and €49 for the Buds 2 Plus.

Pricing and Availability

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is available in two storage variants: 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB. It comes in four colors White, Black, Orange, and Light Green. The base variant is priced at €259, while the 256 GB variant costs €289.

In India, the phone will be available starting at Rs 18,999, with a limited-time offer of Rs 17,999. Pre-orders are open now, and shipping will begin on May 5.
