Players are eagerly anticipating the chance to dive into Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Following the worldwide reveal of Black Ops 6, the demand for a multiplayer beta has been overwhelming. After a long period of silence, the Call of Duty team has finally announced the dates for the Black Ops 6 multiplayer open beta!
The dates were officially announced in the inaugural episode of the Call of Duty Podcast, known as COD POD, hosted by COD League commentator Miles and Stephanie, the Senior Director of Studio Communications at Call of Duty.
Announced around the 44:08 minute mark, the Call of Duty multiplayer open beta will run from August 30, 2024, to September 6, 2024. This early access beta will be available only to players who pre-order the game or subscribe to specific Game Pass plans.
After the early access period ends, the multiplayer beta will open to everyone from September 6, 2024, to September 9, 2024. As highlighted in the podcast, this beta will be available on all platforms, not limited to just one.
That’s correct; the beta is now available to everyone across all platforms. So, if you pre-ordered the game on Xbox and were previously unable to access the beta, which was exclusive to PlayStation, that’s no longer an issue!
Map and content details for the multiplayer beta haven’t been disclosed yet, but you can anticipate updates in the upcoming weekends. Are you excited to try the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
