Following the unveiling of three projects in 2022, Ubisoft kept gamers eagerly anticipating news on Codename Red or Codename Hexe. However, in a welcomed update, Ubisoft has at last disclosed the official title and shared some insights into Assassin’s Creed Red.
As announced by the official Assassin’s Creed X account, Codename Red is now known as Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The global debut of the cinematic trailer is scheduled for May 15, 2024, at 9 AM PT.
At long last, players worldwide will soon catch their first glimpse of the highly anticipated adventure in the beloved open-world action-adventure franchise. As earlier leaks and subsequent official announcements hinted, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will transport players to Japan.
The reveal post showcases an Assassin’s Creed gate amidst a bustling Japanese street, its clock incessantly flashing the words “REVEAL TRAILER” alongside the dates. Indeed, after years of fervent fan requests, the franchise will finally delve into Feudal Japan. Moreover, this installment is expected to be the inaugural game in the Assassin’s Creed Infinity Project, introducing a live-service approach to the series.
