Launched alongside the Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3, the Apple Watch SE 3 serves as the more affordable and streamlined option in the lineup. Apple Watch SE 3 Specs and Features
The Apple Watch SE 3 carries forward a design similar to the 2022 Watch SE 2, featuring a square display with rounded edges and an aluminum casing. However, the size options have changed this time. Instead of the previous 41mm and 44mm variants on the Watch SE 2, the SE 3 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes.
Both models continue to feature Retina LTPO OLED displays with Ion-X glass protection and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Unlike the Apple Watch SE 2, the SE 3 now supports Always-On Display. The latest SE smartwatch also keeps the speaker grill on the left, with the digital crown and side button positioned on the right.
A major performance upgrade in the Watch SE 3 comes from its Apple designed S10 chipset, also used in the higher-end Watch Series 10. This marks a significant improvement over the S8 processor found in the Watch SE 2.
The S10 chipset is reportedly 20% more powerful than the S8 and offers improved power efficiency. Apple states that the Watch SE 3 can last up to 18 hours under normal usage, aided by a larger battery compared to the SE 2. The smartwatch also supports fast charging.
