Undoubtedly, the Apple Vision Pro has become one of the most sought-after tech gadgets in the Apple ecosystem. This mixed-reality headset combines powerful hardware with an immersive experience, generating significant excitement since its launch. Recently, Apple released a support document detailing compatible Bluetooth devices and accessories for the Vision Pro. Notably, Apple has confirmed that “Bluetooth mice are not compatible with the Vision Pro“.
Apple states that the Vision Pro should work seamlessly with the Apple Magic Trackpad and most Bluetooth keyboards from both Apple and third-party manufacturers. Additionally, the Vision Pro is compatible with all current models of AirPods and Beats headphones. For the best audio experience, including ultra-low-latency and Lossless audio, Apple recommends using the AirPods Pro (2nd gen) with a MagSafe charging case.
However, Apple specifically stated that Vision Pro does not support certain accessories.
“Apple Vision Pro does not support older models of Apple keyboards and trackpads that use removable batteries. Additionally, the Vision Pro does not support Bluetooth mice.” – Apple Support Document
The reason why Vision Pro doesn’t support Bluetooth mice is likely because it emphasizes intuitive hand gestures. These gestures, along with voice and eye controls, are key features of Vision Pro. The device’s eye tracking and hand gestures are remarkably intuitive and simple, providing users with a magical interactive experience. This decision by Apple ensures users can fully immerse themselves in the unique controls and interactions offered by Vision Pro.
For casual gamers, Vision Pro is compatible with all MFi (Made for iPhone) controllers, including those from PlayStation, Xbox, and other controllers that work with iPhones and iPads.
Additionally, the document states that all hearing devices with an MFi designation are compatible with Vision Pro, including models from IQBud, Phonak, and Poco.
