All the Sub-Zero Fatality in Mortal Kombat 1

Sub-Zero is a well-known character in the Mortal Kombat series, famous for his control over ice and his stealthy assassin skills. His Fatalities, named Brain Freeze and Hairline Fracture, are perfect examples of his icy powers and deadly precision. If you want to learn more about these Fatalities and how to execute them in Mortal Kombat 1 then read the post.

How to Achieve Sub-Zero’s First Fatality in MK1 (Hairline Fracture)

Sub-Zero’s first Fatality, called Hairline Fracture, is a brutal move in Mortal Kombat 1. To start, Sub-Zero throws an ice boomerang at his opponent, slicing them clean in half. He then glides across the ice, delivering a powerful kick that sends the enemy flying into the boomerang, which pierces through their head.

As the impaled head slides to the ground, it highlights Sub-Zero’s control over ice and the total defeat of his enemy or opponent. To execute the Hairline Fracture Fatality, use the following button combinations:

  • Position: Any Distance
  • Xbox: D-pad right, D-pad down, D-pad down, Y
  • PC: D, S, S, I
  • Switch: D-pad right, D-pad down, D-pad down, X
  • PlayStation: D-pad right, D-pad down, D-pad down, Triangle

Performing Sub-Zero’s Second Fatality in MK1: Brain Freeze

Brain Freeze is a well-known Fatality, originally used by the assassin Frost. However, in Mortal Kombat 1, Sub-Zero’s take on Brain Freeze is entirely different. Instead of mimicking Frost, Sub-Zero starts by creating an ice shard.

He then repeatedly slams his opponent’s head against it until their brain sticks to the ice. Finally, he freezes the rest of their head and shatters it into ice shards. If we were you, we’d keep our distance from this one! Here’s how you can achieve Sub-Zero’s second Fatality in MK1:

  • Position: Close-Range
  • Xbox: D-pad right, D-pad left, D-pad down, B
  • PC: D, A, S, L
  • Switch: D-pad right, D-pad left, D-pad down, A
  • PlayStation: D-pad right, D-pad left, D-pad down, Circle

Here’s a recap of Sub-Zero’s Fatalities that you need to know. Have you tried out any of Sub-Zero’s Fatalities in MK1 yet? Which of the two do you enjoy using the most? What do you think about the Sub-Zero’s Fatalities in MK1, write in the comment section below.
