Fortnite keeps evolving, and this season, it’s all about Star Wars. Following the action-packed thrills of the previous season, the Fortnite v35.00 update introduces lightsabers, several bases, and even Star Wars vehicles. With Fortnite servers set for maintenance soon, if you’re wondering whether Fortnite is down and when it will be back online, here’s what you need to know.
Fortnite V35.00 Downtime Schedule
The official Fortnite Status X account has confirmed that downtime for Chapter 6 Season 3 will start at 2 AM ET/11 PM PT on May 2, with matchmaking concluding shortly before. So, if you see the “Fortnite Servers not responding” message in the game, don’t worry it’s all part of the process.
You can check when the servers are back online by visiting the official Epic Games status website. This site will keep you updated on any ongoing issues with Fortnite or other Epic services. Currently, the Fortnite v35.00 update hasn’t started, so everything is running smoothly. However, expect the status to change in about 30 minutes.
Based on previous updates and Epic Games’ schedule, this maintenance is expected to last 4 to 5 hours. This is also when the Fortnite servers will be back online.
