At this point, it’s hard to deny—we’re witnessing an all-out war between Fortnite and Apple. And yes, it’s as literal as it gets. Fortnite on iOS is once again unavailable globally, as Epic Games has announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Apple has blocked their latest submission of the game.

According to Fortnite’s official post, the game will remain inaccessible on iOS worldwide until Apple lifts the restriction. This comes just months after Fortnite was re-released for iOS users in the EU. Here’s what the official statement from the Fortnite account said:

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney had recently hinted at Fortnite’s return for U.S. users this week, stating that the Epic Games EU account would be used to facilitate the rollout. However, with Apple now blocking the game globally, the future of Fortnite on iOS is once again hanging in the balance. Sweeney also confirmed that Thursday’s planned update was delayed due to the game being under App Store review.

With Apple hitting pause on Fortnite’s comeback, it seems the much-anticipated return could face a significant delay. What’s your take on Apple rejecting Fortnite’s submission yet again? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
