Zotac Introduces New ZBox Magnus Mini PCs with Intel 13th Gen CPU and RTX 4070 GPU

Zotac, a well-known hardware manufacturer, is making waves in the industry with their latest release. They’ve unveiled graphics cards and a series of small form factor PCs under the Zotac Zbox Mini PC lineup, and these updates promise exciting performance improvements. These updates essentially refresh Zotac’s Zbox Magnus One PCs, equipping them with the latest processors and graphics for an enhanced computing experience.

Upgraded Zotac Magnus One Featuring RTX 4070 & i7-13700

Zotac is elevating their performance with the inclusion of Nvidia’s robust GeForce RTX 4070 graphics and Intel’s 13th-Gen Raptor Lake processors in the ZBox Magnus One. The Nvidia Ada Lovelace architecture brings a host of improvements, including advanced RT Cores and an Optical Flow accelerator. These advancements enable AI-powered DLSS 3 frame generation, significantly boosting in-game FPS and overall performance.

On the Intel side, the Raptor Lake architecture offers enhanced efficiency compared to its predecessor, the 12th-Gen Alder Lake CPUs. The i7-13700 CPU used in this setup boasts impressive specifications, featuring 16 cores and 24 threads. While its clock speeds might not match those of the i7-13700K/KF variant, it still offers robust performance.

The GeForce RTX 4070 integrated in the system is a full-fledged desktop graphics card equipped with 12GB of GDDR6X memory and 5888 CUDA cores. It offers an array of display outputs at the back, including HDMI and DisplayPort. Storage options are well-covered with two M.2 SSD slots (at 2280 length) that support PCIe 4.0 SSDs, along with an additional 2.5-inch SATA SSD slot.

Wireless connectivity is robust with WiFi 6 support and Bluetooth v5.2. There are two ethernet ports, one supporting speeds of up to 2.5GbE, while the other offers standard GbE. The port selection is impressive, featuring Thunderbolt 4, SD Card Slot with UHS-II support, and seven USB 3.2 connectors, including a Type-C port.

The compact Magnus One packs a punch in a small volume of just 8.3 liters. It’s designed for easy upgrades, accommodating better CPUs (up to 65W) and graphics cards, all within its limited space. Notably, it’s equipped with a 500W 80+ Platinum rated power supply, an essential component for consistent performance.

Zotac Launches Magnus EN Series with i7-13700HX & RTX 4070 Laptop GPU

Zotac’s updates extend to their Magnus EN Series Mini PC, which now features 13th-Generation Intel mobile processors. These processors are tailored for laptops and mini PCs, ensuring both portability and performance. The compact size of the Zotac Magnus, just 2.65 liters, belies its powerful specifications.

The featured processor, up to an i7-13700HX, boasts an impressive 16-core & 24-thread configuration, capable of achieving turbo speeds of up to 5.0GHz, according to Zotac. The graphics department is no slouch either, with the inclusion of an RTX 4070 laptop chip boasting 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a boost clock speed of up to 2175MHz. The combination of these specifications establishes the Zotac Magnus EN series as a genuine powerhouse.

Memory in the Magnus EN Series comes in the form of DDR5 modules, with support for up to 64GB RAM. Storage options are versatile, featuring 2x M.2 slots compatible with PCIe 4.0 SSDs, along with an SD Card reader with UHS-II support. The system also offers WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 support, as well as two 2.5GbE ports for robust connectivity. There are 5 USB 3.0 ports and a Thunderbolt 4 port available in the port selection.
