Microsoft Announces Compatibility with the USB 4 80Gbps Standard


The upcoming USB4 (Specification v2.0) standard is set to revolutionize the Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, promising significantly faster speeds on numerous laptops slated for release this year. In sync with this advancement, the latest Windows 11 Insider update, specifically build version 23615, now includes support for USB4 with impressive speeds of 80 Gigabits per second. Eligible Insiders can already access a Windows 11 ISO.

Notably, Razer has taken the lead by launching its Blade 18 gaming laptop, equipped with up to an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and compatibility with the cutting-edge Thunderbolt 5 standard.
