Genshin Impact 4.1: Release Date, Characters, Banners, and More

After the success of Genshin Impact 4.0, players are eagerly looking forward to what’s next in Genshin Impact 4.1. With the Archon quest from the previous version completed by many, the upcoming version promises to bring in some familiar characters from 4.0, new quests to uncover Teyvat’s secrets, fresh banners, and exciting events. Here’s a rundown of what to expect in Genshin Impact 4.1.

Release Date of Genshin Impact 4.1

The much-awaited Genshin Impact 4.1 version is scheduled to launch on September 27 and will continue until November 8, if everything goes according to plan. The first phase is set to commence on September 27 and run until October 18, followed by the second phase from October 18 to November 8. Similar to Genshin Impact 4.0 banners, each version extends for 42 days, divided into two 21-day phases.

New Banners in Genshin Impact 4.1

Recent teasers from Genshin Impact have unveiled that Wriothesley and Neuvilette will be the focal points of the 4.1 banners. Wriothesley, a Cryo Catalyst user, and Chief Justice of Fontaine Monsieur Neuvilette, a Hydro Catalyst user, are confirmed to make their appearances. While the rerun characters have yet to be officially disclosed, reliable leaker Uncle YC has indicated that the first half of Genshin Impact 4.1 will showcase Wriothesley alongside Venti, while the latter half will feature Neuvilette alongside Hu Tao.

Although information about the weapons is still under wraps, predictions can be made based on character reruns. Phase one could see Venti’s signature bow Elegy for the End accompanying Wriothesley’s signature weapon, while phase two might include Staff of Homa and Neuvilette’s unique weapon.

New Bosses and Enemies

Genshin Impact 4.1 is anticipated to introduce two new bosses, as hinted by reputable leaker Uncle YC. Leaked images have also surfaced, offering a glimpse into these bosses that are likely to provide materials for ascending Neuvilette, Wriothesley, and forthcoming characters. One of the bosses seems to have the ability to manipulate gravity, utilizing gravity-altering mechanics to unleash area-of-effect attacks on players.

The other boss resembles an enlarged version of the Blubber Seahorse found in the underground Fontaine map. Similar to its smaller counterpart, this boss employs the electro element. However, further details about this boss are still scarce.

Genshin Impact 4.1 introduces new adversaries, Seneschal of Frost and Seneschal of Wind. As their names suggest, these enemies will harness the power of cryo and anemo elements respectively.

Fontaine Map Expansion

According to trustworthy leaker Uncle YC, the Fontaine map will undergo expansion towards the east, incorporating the previously incomplete regions. The map transformation could potentially introduce the prison area of Fontaine, anticipated to feature in future updates.

Genshin Impact fans have a lot to look forward to in version 4.1, from new characters and bosses to map expansions and thrilling gameplay enhancements. Stay tuned for the next adventure in Teyvat!
